Construction Safety

Construction Safety Collage

Overview

Construction is a high hazard industry that comprises a wide range of activities. Some of these activities include residential construction, bridge erection, roadway paving, excavations, and demolitions. The people that engage in construction may be exposed to serious hazards such as falling from elevation, unguarded machinery, being struck by falling objects, exposed to extreme weather conditions, being run over by heavy construction equipment, electrocutions, silica dust, and asbestos. The goal of a Construction Safety program is to provide safety guidance, resources, and assistance for leaders to meet the needs of their mission or operation without the loss of personnel and equipment. This page provides resources and links to assist in this goal. As always, the Tactical Safety Network welcomes your comments and feedback. Please contact the Tactical Safety Network via e-mail with your questions and comments regarding construction safety.
